Finding Books at The Dalles Campus Bookstore How to locate your books
We're a walk-in bookstore with textbooks, supplies, apparel, and much more.
1. Know which classes you're in.
The books are organized alphabetically by subject code, for example, the Anatomy and Physiology book is listed under "BI 231-233." There's a label on the shelf that will help you. It's helpful to bring your class schedule to be sure you purchase books for the right class and instructor.
2. Consult the Booklist.
Whether you download it from home, or pick up a reference copy in the bookstore, the booklist will tell you which books you need for the classes you're in. It will also tell you pricing for new and used books, author of the text, publisher, and the isbn (the unique identifying code for the book). The booklist becomes available at the time the schedule is published.
3. Check out at the Register.
If you're paying with your student account, make sure that you've taken the right steps before you come to the bookstore to shop. This may include a visit to the Cashiers window in the Business Office, or to our Financial Aid advisors at Student Services.
